Hey Moni Maker
Today, in 1903, Joseph Pulitzer established the Pulitzer Prize. Usually, it goes to journalists, writers, and artists. Ah, in how many years do you think Moni Talks will get that award...? Although, in our reality, we don't care anymore.
After all, nowadays, people are increasingly moving away from hype to anons, putting bought NFTs on their avatars. Underground as it is!
Digest, yes. Let's go!
You will be captured soon, pirate!
Microsoft will use the ethereum to fight piracy! So…
In a new study released by Microsoft's research department with input from researchers at Alibaba, the Redmond giant explored a blockchain-based incentive system to support anti-piracy campaigns.
The Argus system is built on the Ethereum blockchain. It will help track pirated content with watermarks and whistleblower messages.
"We hope that with the security and practicality of Argus, real-world anti-piracy campaigns will be truly effective by moving to a fully transparent incentive mechanism," the paper said.
Is Bill slowly getting closer to crypto? It's taking a long time. That's okay; we are patient, guys - we'll wait...
Jack Ma, what do you think of crypto-o-o?
Chinese multinational e-commerce firm, Alibaba Group Holding, has launched a new nonfungible tokens (NFTs) marketplace allowing trademark holders to sell tokenized licenses to their intellectual property.
The new NFT marketplace, dubbed “Blockchain Digital Copyright and Asset-Trade,” can be accessed via Alibaba's Auction platform. NFTs launched via the platform will be issued on the “New Copyright Blockchain” — a distributed ledger technology platform centrally operated by the Sichuan Blockchain Association Copyright Committee.
According to an Aug. 17 report from the Alibaba-owned news publication, South China Morning Post (SCMP), the marketplace hopes to target writers, musicians, artists, and game developers.
The marketplace is already live, hosting several NFTs that are set to be auctioned next month. Bidders must post a deposit of 500 yuan (roughly $77) to participate in auctions. Each upcoming auction has set a reserve price of $15 each.
Buyers can view their collections via crypto portfolio application, Bit Universe, which is integrated into WeChat.

Ledger is now Binance Smart Chain too
Ledger started to support Binance's native token BNB, as well as altcoins based on the BEP-20 protocol.
To activate BSC on Ledger, the user needs to:
- Install the BSC app on the Ledger device;
- In the accounts tab, create a BSC account;
- Verify the address and transfer tokens to it.
The developers warned that Binance Smart Chain (BEP-20) and Binance Chain (BEP-2) are two different protocols. While both are supported by the hardware wallet, the
Ledger Live will only support BSC.
Ha! Hopefully, CZ opponents aka regulators won't threaten wallet owners. After all, sometimes their addresses become public...
