Chicago Board Options Exchange CBOE
The Chicago Board Options Exchange (Cboe Global Markets) has filed an application with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to list and trade VanEck's ETF shares. The Form 19b-4 filing was the official confirmation of the exchange's intention to add the instrument to its platform.
"Our application builds on VanEck's Dec. 30 Form S-1 filing and represents the next steps in bringing what could be the first bitcoin ETF to market in the United States." - they wrote in the filing.
Let us remind, that VanEck filed an application in December to launch a bitcoin-based ETF. They had filed similar applications with the SEC twice, but both times were rejected by the regulator and withdrew them themselves.
